Its Here!!!

So after a 3 month wait the truck has finally arived!!! Picked it up on Wednesday and have been trying to pile on 1000 miles so I can hook it up for next weekend.

The drive is great and the ride is much better than I expected with the HD payload pkg. Door sticker payload is 2580lbs !!! More than I was hopping for. Will be posting more pics after I get the step bars on it.

I'll miss the old reliable Yukon but it's staying in the family so we can visit;)

    That's great to hear. On the first re-fuel I did 19.7US mpg hand calculated. I thought that was pretty good so if it gets better I'll be even happier.
    First tow this weekend so I'll report back on Monday.

    Great looking truck. You'll love it.
    We sp ordered ours also. Sat down with our salesman and told him exactly what we wanted and got it. What color is yours, ours is Kodiak Brown?. It's great as a daily driver also, little over 16 city, 21ish hiway and now pulling the 5er between 10 & 11. So comfortable to ride in.
    Enjoy it for years to come.

    Pretty impressive payload no doubt. That's almost a ton and a half of payload, advertised from a "1/2 ton" size truck.

    Good Question. I had to go look, but yes, it's 1050# wd tw and 10500.
    If that becomes an issues I think there's 1200/12000 in the aftermarket.

    I don't mind specifics. The truck was just under 28K + tax (13%:M) out the door.
    I didn't price 250 but if I used a similar pricing structure for the 250 based on the MSRP a similar xlt would have been around 6k more. I don't see ever needing that much truck, even if we upgrade the tt. This truck seems to be the sweet spot for our needs although I haven't even towed with it yet. Don't forsee any issues though.

    Nice truck. I knew Ford had a 2,000+ payload packagae but didn't realize it went to almost 2,600 lbs. That's amazing really. you don't have to give specifics but out of curiosity how much cash did you save staying with the 1/2 ton instead of going 3/4 or 1 ton with similar options?
