Tough month for Ford. Great numbers for the rest. Good to see Ram rebounded after their December numbers.
Maybe the Ford customers are realizing they would be better off waiting for a truck from this century. The 2017's will no doubt put the 99-16's to shame as they should.
Two negatives IMHO are the narrow puck spacing for 5th wheel hitch attachment and the Mexican Made Diesel engine. The rest will no doubt be class leading.
Funny how fords old truck platform still outperforms and outsells the latest and greatest ram platform.
Btw two negatives for the ram the Mexican made truck and ram is a foreign company.
You do know your engine is from Mexico?
I do....cummins98 reminds me all the time

Sure he does! He is the spin master. The Michelin tires he loves are a foreign owned company and he knows the HD RAM trucks are "ASSEMBLED" NOT made in Mexico like his engine is. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Somehow I knew you would reply. :B - drittalExplorerF-series only has the streak they cling to because GM splits silverado and Sierra sales.

I've owned a German Opel Kadett, made by Isuzu in Japan, sold as a Buick.
I've owned a Saab that was made in Japan by Subaru.
I've owned a Ford, designed by Mazda, made by Kia in South Korea.
I've owned a GM product (Geo), made by Suzuki.
..and a bunch of other cars, many made in America, some in Canada, two more from South Korea, and some like my current Ram, in Mexico, by a supposedly Italian company.
Country of manufacture is on the list of factors, but it falls below capability, fuel economy, price, performance, comfort, available options, handling, and a few other criteria. Political statements won't get me up a hill faster, or make my butt feel better at the end of a 10 hour drive.
Exactly.. when was the last time any of these fellows typed a response to a post with an "American" made keyboard? - DakotaDadExplorerI've owned a Buick made in Germany by Opel.
