  • I've never owned a Ram, but with back-to-back C&D Truck of the Year Awards and a 22.5% sales increase, it's hard to ignore something positive for ALL of us--competition!

I find it very interesting that GM's (Silverado & Sierra) sales dropped so much, so soon after the introduction of their completely redesigned 2014 1500's.

Although overall sales are pretty low, look at that dramatic 87.9% sales increase for the Nissan Frontier. This is the 10th year of sales for the current generation Frontier which came out in 2005! As for the Titan, well, it's almost on life support. Nissan's redesign of the Titan (with that 5.0 Cummins diesel) can't come soon enough.
  • I was surprised by the numbers to be honest. Especially given that GM just redesigned their 1500 series trucks. I expect Ford to make big gains when they finally get the new F150 out to sell.

In the top 5 trucks listed only one sales increase from last year! Ram jumped 22% and is getting close to the #2 spot.
Waiting for the break down by type/size 1500/2500/3500.

So you are celebrating the decline of 4 brands..... Pathetic.

    Did he say that? :h

Ram is on a roll for sure, but really, the Silverado and Sierra are the same truck.

Silverardo and Sierra together, (as they SHOULD be counted as ONE), sold 40,044.... They're pushing Ford, may be ahead of them if only counting 1500, 2500 and 3500 versus, 150, 250 and 350....seeing as how that is all that GMC offers now.

I didn't know sales were down for Ford, , but less than 1% ,nor did I know that Ram had increased sales by as much as they did.

I Hope they all do well in sales:), (my company supplies tires, brakes, ABS, ESC, adapters, brake by wire, auto backing and several other components/options to most of these companies)..
