I meant that he will have to ask his dealer if it is a anti-theft lug nut. ( Which he did) And, if it is one (Which he found out it is not ) then he should remove it and throw it away. And, if it is just a stubborn lug nut (Which he found out that it is) Then he should remove it and then throw that lug nut away and get new ones. They are like 3 bucks apiece. (Approximately, I haven't bought one in awhile)

Although, my original statement was a little vague. I don't understand the confusion. Oh well.

12 points are only good for 'perfect' nuts. 6 point sockets are universal.

I stopped in at the dealers on Saturday & he said they aren't anti theft, all 6 per wheel should be a 3/4" socket. I bought a 6 point socket because the 12 point that I had was pretty useless so I guess I'll hammer it on & use a drift or punch to get the lug nut out of the socket if need be. Thanks all.

The common metric sizes for lug nuts are 19 and 21 mm. I would guess though that you have lug nuts with cheap chrome sleeves on them like Huntindog stated.

I have successfully removed this type of lug nut by pounding the socket on and then removing it. Sometimes had to use punch to drive the lug nut out of the socket after getting it off the vehicle.

An anti-theft nut is usually rounded (so no hex socket works) and is turned by a special socket that engages a grooved pattern on the face of the nut.

You will have to ask the dealer. Once you figure out the problem throw that one away.
