I run a 2500 HD 6.0 with factory 4.10 pulling a little 5000# trailer and do good but I'm not going to ever attempt to pull ANY amount of weight with ANY vehicle at 75mph like some of these 5th wheel diesel jockeys you will see out there. The day I picked up our camper (and nearing the end of the 180 mile trip home) some Andretti wannabe driving a Ford with what must have been a 35' 5th wheel in tow passed me like I was standing still and I was doing 65. High speed is never your friend driving a combination vehicle... that being said, if the weight is within your ratings you are good, period. I try not to let anyone goad me into flipping a huge bank-roll on some equipment just because I might be able to stomp the heck out of it and crest that hill doing 70+ because I might not survive the down-hill side IYKWIM. It's just not worth it. LOL
