I just bought a used 2013 Jayco Eagle 284BHS. I noticed that the curb-side wheel well flashing is off-center (see pics) and rubs against the front tire if we hit a bump. It looks like it came from the factory that way. I was just going to move it forward a few inches but then I will see the screw holes by the back tire. Has anyone experienced this before and any ideas?Thanks,Scott

Photos can be deceiving but it looks to me like the front axle may have shifted forward on the curbside. It's possible the pin that holds the axle in place on the spring pack may have sheared.

Inspect the spring set on that side of the trailer. Compare it to the other, good side. I would bet that something has shifted or is bent.

That does not look right at all. what does the other side look like? It is time to do some measuring from hitch coupler to axle/wheel center, both sides. If needed a truck service/alignment center could take care of this.Jerry

I agree with the replies above. This may not be a matter of how it looks but a suspension issue. I'd get it checked out before going very far for fear of suspension collapse.

Thanks everyone for all of the replies! I measured the tire position and everything was inline. I took the skirt flashing off and noticed that they put it on about 2 inches off-center. So I moved it forward and works great now. Thanks again!

I had to replace the skirt flashing on my TT, the replacement was centered well but needed some trimming to fit in place.

Check the axel distances as previously mentioned. If the axles are straight ten it is the shirt flashing.

x3...measure center coupler to center hub front and rear axle. Both sides should be within a 1/4 inch of each other.

Get a measuring tape and measure from the tongue jack to the 1st spring eye on each side. Then measure each component from each 1st spring eye rearward. Everything should be within reason.

Measure the distance between the two tires shown in the photo and compare that measurement to the other side. That might provide your answer.
