Jayco Eagle Wheel Well Flashing Off-Center

I just bought a used 2013 Jayco Eagle 284BHS. I noticed that the curb-side wheel well flashing is off-center (see pics) and rubs against the front tire if we hit a bump. It looks like it came from the factory that way. I was just going to move it forward a few inches but then I will see the screw holes by the back tire. Has anyone experienced this before and any ideas?

Thanks,
Scott
  • That does not look right at all. what does the other side look like? It is time to do some measuring from hitch coupler to axle/wheel center, both sides. If needed a truck service/alignment center could take care of this.

  • Inspect the spring set on that side of the trailer. Compare it to the other, good side. I would bet that something has shifted or is bent.
  • Photos can be deceiving but it looks to me like the front axle may have shifted forward on the curbside. It's possible the pin that holds the axle in place on the spring pack may have sheared.
