Not unusual at all, Jayco has been doing this for years ... imagine investing in a
Jayco Jayfeather X17Z Hybrid only to realize later that the trailer is only rated for 415 lbs of cargo
before accounting for the weight of
anything else. :E Jayco is not alone though, most every other manufacturer of these smaller, lightweight single axle trailers do the same. Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware. :(
