No, I don't think that it is fallen and I do think that it is on par with any other RV manufacturer, probably a little better. This is typical of the RV industry where there is little QC and there is a lot of push to get these manually contructed units out the door as fast as possible. A recipe for cr*ppy workmanship foisted on the consumer who have to suck it up apparently.
The Jayco I had had no failures in the time I had it. There were fit and finish flash especially the parts that are hidden. Screws not straight so that they even miss the target behind, wavy partition walls, uneven caulking, etc. But it all worked and the components they chose gave no trouble.
