Been there done that. Paid $4000 to have the roof replaced. No obvious damage to the rubber membrane. Insurance won't cover it because to obvious cause found. My repair guy thought it was a manufacture defect but Jayco wouldn't cover it because it was out of warranty. Extended warranty excludes roofs. They even had another similar Jayco come in with the exact same problem. What a bummer you had to "find" it when you were trading it in. Congrats on the new trailer. Enjoy it!!!! Pat
Exactly what happened. My repair guy used a different material that did not have the felt backing.
