My first 5er was a Dutchman. Bought new back in about 1999. That was the biggest POS that I have ever had. During the two years we owned it, it seemed to be in for repair more than with me. Our trouble was three fold. Poor build quality, slow parts delivery, and a bad dealer. I won't ever buy one again.
In a new RV purchase, I think you have to assume that it is going to spend some time in the shop, no matter what the manufacture. The overall build quality just does not compare to something like the auto industry. That said, I feel strongly that when purchasing new, the dealer you buy from is at least as important as the brand you choose.
Good luck.
