Just remember that being big enough to pull does not mean big enough to control. Stopping under adverse conditions is something entirely different. Salesman and Hubby both said the F250 (short bed) would be big enough for the 42' Cedar Creek, and it pulled well enough. But I got my "told you so" when hubby almost lost it on a wet bridge and immediately went out and got the F450 4WD King Cab long-bed dually. (That was overkill, we traded it in on a F350 King Cab long-bed 4WD.)
That is something else to consider- do you have a short bed on the truck? You may need a sliding hitch, and if the weight is not over the axle all of the time, you have to redo your calculations. Don't listen to the salesman. He gets paid once the loan goes through. He'll never even know it was you who took out the guard rail...
