- tomman58ExplorerWe put 65,000 miles on our 2008 Eagle without any problems other than an axle alignment issue. Our 2012 Eagle has no issues we can find and it has about 20,000 miles on it already!
We stayed in our 1st one for about a year and a half when all our trips are totaled. Well built and great quality plus Jayco is always there to help you. - rugerguyExplorerWe just bought our Eagle and next weekend will be our first time out.So far camping in the driveway, its the nicest RV we've owned
- mhardinExplorerI have a 2002 Jayco Eagle. Never a problem, good fit and finish. Recommend them.
- thomasmnileExplorerWe have a 2013 WhiteHawk 27DSRL. Small bath, small bedroom short on clothing storage, but then it's an ultra-lite and a "vacation" type rig more than a "long time" or full time unit. Really did like the Eagle TT's we looked at, but the WhiteHawk suited our needs for less $$, so we went with that. Happy so far........
- aarond76ExplorerThey are constructed in very different ways and marketed to two different groups. The white hawk is an ultra-light. Keeping weight down is the primary focus of this line. Ceilings are 6'-6", fresh water capacity is 46 gallons, cabinetry will be built lighter etc...
Move up to the Eagle in you are going to be in 3/4 ton or one ton tow vehichle territory as they are much heavier. Ceilings are 7' tall, Water capacity is enormous at 86 gallons.
Both are nice trailers. Find the floor plan you like most, make sure your vehicle can tow it, and go from there. - gclossExplorerI have a Jayco Eagle and we love it. Unfortunately our model year from what I understand is when Jayco had some cutbacks and unhappy labor.
The fit and finish of our Eagle was not like the Jayflight we had previously owned. They could have done a better job with the interior finishing. Someone at the factory had a grand ole time with an air nailer on our interior. I cannot complain because we purchased the trailer used from the original owner who only used it 2 seasons and sold it for 50% of what he paid for it.
We've been looking at new Eagles and Whitehawks. The fit and finish of the interiors are far better than my 2009 Eagle. we will most likely pickup a Whitehawk in a few years. - SdespainExplorer

Does anyone own a Jayco White Hawk or Jayco Eagle if please comment.
I have a 2013 Whitehawk. Loveit. I am just up the road from you - rdrectorExplorerI had two KZ's and now a 2013 Jayco Eagle. By far the Eagle is much better. The KZ's were nice, and I did not have any major issue with them, but just not as nice as the Eagle. The Eagle is much more refined in the details and hardware, and feels more solid all-around. No problems with staples as prev poster stated. I find it hard to beleive you will find "any" trailer without staples :@ The Eagle has some staples, but all have been covered with matrching color fill. Most trailers I see they don't go the extra step in filling the holes. Before I ordered my Eagle, I looked at a number of popular trailers out there. I found many were very nice looking on the outside, but inside I was finding things that just were not going to hold up very well over the next 3-5 years. That was my turning factor to the Eagle. The Eagle is heavier then many out there, but at the same time, some, not all, things will be sacrificed in quailty for weight loss.
- APTExplorerTh Eagle line is better in almost every way. It's heavier and costs more. If you have the TV and funds for it, I do not think you will regret the choice.
- BillB800siExplorerIf you go with the Eagle then make sure you run your hands all over the walls to check for loose staples. We owned a Jayco Eagle (2007- 322FKS)for 6 years and my wife kept after me to pound the staples back into the wall.
We just bought a 2014 Cougar HC 321RES and before we signed my wife checked out every square inch of the walls- NO STAPLES anywhere. I signed.....
Happy trails,
