We have the same Eagle TT only the 2012 model. We saw this one at the Hershey,PA show...WOW. ......Now if they would just put a big window in the back with a TV slide in back of the fireplace and put in pull outs in the (deep, narrow) pantry they'd have a TT that NO ONE could beat.
I agree I thought it needed a TV that raised up in in the rear as well. But then it would also have one the biggest faults of RV floorplans. The TV would be 90º to the sofas vs. being directly in front of the sofas. This is a flaw in lots of floor plans. You would never place your TV perpendicular to the sofa at home.
The new Jayco floorplan is big and I imagine it will be a game changer however it needs a bit more design work to make better more practical use of all the space it has to offer.

If you click on the video you will see the 338RETS comes with a huge back window (just like my Cougar 321RES).

Jayco Video Also the TV pops up when needed. You can go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a fireplace and install it right in front of the TV. Just remove the two cabinet doors and mount the fireplace. I will be doing that next summer to my Cougar (after my warranty is over).
In regard to positioning of the TV. Most all trailers have their TV's mounted perpendicular to the sofa & dining table. This gives you unobstructed view. Plus if you have a sofa in front of a rear TV then it would prevent one from closing the slides.
Happy trails,
