You were lucky. One emergency stop (or not stop) would have changed your mind right quick.
There are MILLIONS of lucky drivers that get away with " being lucky" every day.
I tend to look at the worse case scenario and if my combo can handle that "worst" case, taking "luck" out of the equation as much as possible.
What you are willing to trade for the safety of your family and others is vastly different from what I am willing to trade.
