The question about the life of the tire...I suspect that the RV industry is saying to replace them about every 5 to 7 years, BUT RV's with 19.5 and 22.5 are usually MH, I bet the vast majority of those MH don't travel the distances we TC folks do. I suspect they sit many months without moving, so the tire is not getting excercised so to speak...these tires will be on your PU, even if only used for the TC, I bet you use it and put some miles on it...I know I do! I have over 65K on my tires now. Installed Sep 08...no signs of cracks, checking, bumps, buldges..in fact last year I stopped by my GY semi truck tire dealer to have an inspection of the underside of my rig and he commented on the tires...he noted the wear was even and no cupping on the steer fronts and rears being an aggressive lug the lugs looked good and are wearing like lugs do, chips out of some the edges of the lugs due to rocky rough roads, climbing curbs rear first at my house...all looks normal...he also commented on you really are using this truck. So I maintaine that the tire life issue depends on use or NO use! JMHO!!
