FWIW, I drove a 2wd 3500 DRW RAM for 10 years as a daily driver. Went through 5 sets of tires that I can recall. x2 Ameritrac, 2 Goodyear SilentArmor, 1 Firestone Transforce HT (best tires by far) then bought the new Ford w/ 19.5s. The 19.5s wander a bit more than the Transforce did which also wandered more than the other 2 brands. But notice which of the 17" tires were my favorite. The Transforce had the stiffest sidewall of all the 17's and left me feeling more confidant. I'd recommend them again w/o fail. I wanted to go 19.5 on the Ram for years but didn't want to plunk down the cash. The Transforce tires cured me of the 19.5 bug for that truck. I ran them at 60lbs up front and 80lbs in the rear.
