Believe you've made a good case for the 6.4 Hemi. Will be curious to see some realworld MPG numbers for the 6.4 Hemi.
Your situation emphasizes my view there's a need for a 3/4 ton (or heavy-duty 1/2 ton) truck with a mid-sized diesel like the 5.0 Cummins. IMO, it would fill the void (especially MPG) between high-torque, gassers and the current crop of big-displacement 3/4 ton diesels.
