I think that a really interesting gas engine would be Ford’s 5.0 liter ecoboosted (turbo and direct injection) putting out 600 ft.lb. at 2500 RPM so you don’t need screaming engine to get torque to the back wheels. Thank goodness they don’t offer it yet so I “had” to buy a diesel to get North of 430 ft.lbs.
