Granted it's splitting hairs but 05-10 Ford V10 and 01-07 GM 8.1L were both gas motors that eclipsed 430ft-lbs. IIRC, 457ft-lb for 3v head V10 & 440ft-lb (or was it 455ft-lb?) for the 8.1L.
If you meant new trucks then ignore the statement above LOL.
I agree, a 5.0L "Ecoboosted" would be a very interesting towing motor.
