Coil springs with heavy loads
The claims I get out of it:
- suspension "shops" aren't yet able to modify the coil rear suspension. His previous 3/4 tons could be easily modified to handle the weight.
- The two point mounting of the coil suspension doesn't handle heavy loads as well as the three point mounting of leaf springs. (the 3500 is leaf spring)
He probably should have gotten a one ton instead of a 3/4 ton but that is something lots of people seem to do. I guess for the new Dodge trucks people will not be able to claim the 3/4 ton and the one ton are basically the same truck.
