Seeing that I screwed up and did a quote instead of an edit with this post, lets look at handling of the a 3500 duallie(air rear) with a large truck camper and push it into a corner hard! If this new air suspension lets the load overcome the outside air bag a bit causing a causing a lean of the camper to the outside what happens. Remember those ramp test that show how stiff the RAM frame is vs the Ford frame? So what is going to happen? Lift the inside front tire? I see lots of issues. I still say RAM will declare the 3500 rear air suspension is not for tall loads, just like the 2500 coil spring suspension.
Has nothing to do with coils and air bags, but the inboard position of them on the axles.
