Take a tour, listen to what the guild says, watch the workers, and then ask the guide about the lack of quality. You'll see things in a different way. (there again, I'm not saying it's right ... they do miss some of the most obvious stuff, but if you saw it in action, you'd understand why).
I also took several tours of RV manufacturer facilities over the years. And I also understand why. Still it is NO EXCUSE for poor quality standards of today. Change the manufacturing process to produce a quality product. Quality construction was achieved in years gone by. There is no excuse why it can't still be done today.
