What ever happened to the idea that it takes just as long to do it right as it does to do it wrong? I mean if you're hooking up switches, cable connections or such, it takes just as long to connect to the right wire as the wrong wire. Takes just as long to put a piece of trim on straight as crooked. Takes just as long to put screws in straight as crooked. Etc.
If the guys laying down some caulk on a window frame, then it takes just as long to caulk and wipe the top edge even if they missed 2" in the middle.
JMO but it boils down to the fact that who really wants to build RVs all their life? The pay sucks for one and the feeling of self worth is not near as high as other jobs. If the management isn't going to theses guys more then how do they expect them to produce better quality work? You get what you pay for.
