As said earlier, we as a group make too many excuses for the manufacturers and dealers. Why do they have enough time, and money, to do it twice but never enough to do it right the first time? Well it's the same thing really. And I think you missed my point.
RV's are built on an Assembly line. To stop that line to correct a small problem results in HUGE costs. It is in effect much cheaper to fix some things after the fact. But as assembly progresses it may be very difficult to access those issues. A hard decision is required. And it's an economic one. And NO it does not cost the same to do it right the first time in all cases.
