Ex. our bottom kitchen draw lacks a 'stop'..it's simply missing....the drawer will come all the way out if pulled that far (unlike the other two kitchen drawers, which do have stops)...
As an example also..Before we buy any RV the wife checks the inside, opens every drawer/cupboard etc etc several times as well as checking all other things inside as I do the outside BEFORE we buy.
Not happy..Don't buy!
I worked in two RV manufacturer plants(Security and Kit) as a kid.We were paid by the hour. Each station had a foreman responsible for what left that station to go to the next and each had the same with a final finish inspection before it left..
Do some get by,ofcourse but it is up to the buyer to inspect it before they buy just like they would a car/motorcycle or home.
I bought a new, what some would call a entry level trailer which I totally disagree on,Keystone Springdale in 2010.Since we bought it, I have not put .10 cents in it.Yes I have had to re-do some minor stuff like screws backing out but nothing close to major flaws missed at the factory because we checked "Before buying".
This Keystone Springdale has been every bit as good as any other RV I have ever owned like the Jayco/Beaver or Holiday Rambler and a host of others and most all of our travels are on wash boardy gravel roads in the backcountry of Idaho.
My opinion is on this subject is, that it is the consumers fault most of the time for not taking the bull by the horn and thoroughly checking out there purchase prior to buying just like they would with any other type of purchase!
Simple..Don't like it or the workmanship..Don't buy it...
