I really don't understand people's complaints here.
These are businesses, operating under a business model.
If their model didn't work, they would be out of business.
You and you alone, choose the product you want to buy. They do not compel you to buy it.
If you want to purchase almost perfect quality merchandise, you are going to pay a premium for that. Some people are able to do that and there are companies that cater to that clientele. (Airstream is an example).
If you want to buy something much more affordable, there are several companies that cater to that clientele as well, but you can be sure that not everything will be perfect. Still, some of these companies have a 2 year warranty period so really how can you complain? As others have said, I personally try to fix most of those minor things on my own. It takes less time, it gets done faster, and I know the work will be done correctly. Of course you can take it back to the dealer for every small thing, while the rest of us will be out enjoying our camping trips. I could NEVER afford a $200K motor home or an Airstream, but I can afford a $15K travel trailer that I use and enjoy on a regular basis.
The answer is simple. You get what you are willing to pay for. Decide what you want when you purchase and be happy with your choice. As for me, I'd rather be out camping and enjoying my TT, even though it may have (oh, my!) a piece of trim that has come loose.
