To Whom (moderator) It May Concern,Recognizing the fact that it is your right to do as you please and my not having a problem with that…I would like to really know why some are allowed to post as fact information that is completely out of context, proves or solves nothing but are allowed to continue presenting the same non facts, until those facts are contested… then the thread magically gets closed…While I don’t question the authority to close it, please have the nerve to at least give a hint as to why it was closed…1. Is it because you agree with the unfounded, unprovable, misinformation and like them to fire the bullets??? Then allow it as long as its not questioned???2. Or do they or someone respond in a way to get the thread closed rather than be questioned??? 3. Or did my response get it closed, even though I can see no rule violations, no flaming or cause???4. The only post posted after mine was a legitimate comment/question from someone in the business that now goes unanswered, so that in my mind seems unlikely to be an issue…So unless it was my post it seems it must be number 1 or 2 or maybe something I haven thought about…The thing is without knowing the reasons for the closing, it can only continue the way it is, and if disagreement isn’t allowed (but will always exist) then how do those in public forum hear different opinions and make their own informed decisions???While I doubt you need a hint the thread was locked sometime after 8:26 this AM…

From the rules: Moderators have to make difficult judgment calls, but remember, they are human. We all know how things sometimes turn out when humans are involved.

I'd like to see the mod identifying itself when any changes are made.Thats the only way to regulate accountability.

The other option is not to give the subject much thought. :) 2oldman makes a correct point I expect.

Why do so many people want to close a thread just because they don't like the topic or don't like the posts? No one forces you to open and read the thread. If you don't like the thread, just ignore it and it will soon die of its own accord.

Follow the thread - people were equating that using this forum was a right as in the definition quoted above. Others were saying that using this forum is a privilege as in the definition quoted above. Your post implied that there was not difference between a right and a privilege.

Your reasoning is that there is no difference between a basketball and a golf ball.

This topic gets beat to death.

I've made replies in lots of closed threads and no reason given. It simply doesn't bother me.

So the mod closed another ST vs LT thread...big deal.

That particular thread should have been closed quicker. I also don't think the mods need to give their reasons especially after warnings and deletions.

Rules were broke so Suck it up and let it go.
