Also be aware that pushing the minus button will change the display from just a D showing to D 1-6. Mind you, you're gonna have to push it more than once, otherwise it will limit you to the gear you're in at the time.
As others have said, put it in tow/haul, turn on the exhaust brake and enjoy the ride.
Oh yes. Without tow/haul on, the exhaust brake cuts off after you slow to 30 MPH.
With tow/haul, it continues working until down to 20 MPH, sometimes lower, depending on conditions.
