Just bought a new TV

After many years of good service out of my old '98 Suburban 2500, I decided to retire her and go for something newer. My original intention was to find a modestly priced used gas 3/4 ton pick up, until I found this beautiful 2013 GMC Sierra crew cab with the Duramax diesel. It was love at first sight. It was way more than I originally wanted to spend but I just couldn't resist. I pick it up tomorrow and can't wait to start tinkering with it. It even matches the color of our new TT.

    Congrats there fellow diesel owner. Just remember that diesel fumes make you horny!! Problem is, todays diesels don't emit much in way of fumes! Sigh!!

    Super nice. Good choice. Same engine/ trans since 2011 to current and wins all the timed pulls towing grades plus very good reliability. The Gm lml is a stout powertrain.

    Thanks for the comments. I'm pretty excited. It's a 3 hour drive from here and I'm leaving at 5am tomorrow morning to go pick it up. I've already looked at the map trying to find the LONG way home. Sunday we'll hook it up to the new TT and give it a pull up the Altamont pass. I've been told that I won't even know I have a trailer behind me with this Duramax. Can't wait to try it out.

    Very nice truck... My neighbor has one exactly like it and he loves it.

    I know he doesn't appreciate it when he has the hood open to poor DEF into his tank and I catch him and start yelling "Are you working on that GM again!" :B

    Nice, love it when that happens! I was shopping for a new gas truck when I stumbled upon my used diesel truck for the same price!!!

    Great looking truck and congrats! Nothing beats towing with these newer diesels.
