If that term applies to cubic inches and what is currently on the market - not yester year - I think the OP could have a big block since it is the largest displacement available in the OP's pickup.:B

Here is the explanation:
A 283/327/350 Chev was a "small block" A 396/427/454 was a "big block"
A 289/302/351 Ford was a "small block" A 428/429/460 was a "big block"
A 318/340/360 Dodge was a "small block" A 383/440/426 was a "big block
Common terms used to distinguish the engines.....the blocks were different for each class so to speak.
BTW the engines above are "cubic inches" I won't break it down to metric.....
The OP's 6.0 litre chev engine is considered a "small block"
The 8.1 litre chev engine would be considered a "big block"
It is not a derogatory term used to discuss...ummm ones "equipment".
Class dismissed, lets go camping.......:)
