If that's even true which I doubt, it's because your truck is already howling like a banshee at interstate speeds. It idles at around 650rpm, already a blur to the nekid eye. Why does it have to scream at 2000rpm just to roll down the highway? I guess it's all based on perception. I can only pedal comfortably at about 70rpm. Therefore, anything higher than that means the engine is struggling, screaming and going to wear out prematurely right?:h
How long do the bearings last in that 100,000rpm plus turbocharger?:S
