That call from the dealer was a big mistake. It would cost them future business if they follow through on what they are hinting at. If they screwed up by not doing a professional walk through, shame on them and tell them to suck it up. I just went through a "blind" trade in as well. They never once even looked at my trade in. When asked about it on delivery all they wanted was the title and looked out the window to see that it really was there. They were way more focused of getting my check and trying to sell me extended service contracts. I was shocked that they never went inside. I had already told my wife that if they tried to renegotiate after looking at our trade in that we will walk, not a penny more. Never heard from them again and it's going on 2 months.
I would not waste a minute worrying about it. They have much more to risk than you by bothering you. Have fun.
