Melamine foam erasers work well; but on surfaces that are painted, polished or easily scratched, they might work a little too well. It's recommended to test the eraser on a small, preferably unnoticeable, portion of whatever you're looking to clean before you dive on in.
I used one on the gel coat of our old camper, and it left shiny marks where I scrubbed EVERYWHERE! In the right light, it looked horrible. These things work well...too well. I'm not allowed near the camper with one.
X2 on that one! Wife used them on some of our walls in our house. I threw them away. In the right light you can see exactly where she scrubbed with them.
