Definitely need more truck. Many of the prior responses are from non-TH owners and don't realize the weight of that size rig, The specs show an unloaded weight of 5800# (most are understated from the factory), a GVWR of nearly 9500# and 27' total length.
Your truck has roughly 1500# payload which will be used up by just the tongue weight since TH rigs are overly tongue heavy to begin with. You, the kids and DW, plus any gear will push you way over. Getting up to speed and braking will be miserable not to mention poor results with any mountain or high elevation towing.
Best bet so you can carry all the toys, supplies, water, fuel, and whatever else most TH rigs are filled with is at least a 3/4 ton crewcab, Burb, Excursion, or van. No amount of anything will make your current truck a comfortable TV. My rig is just a few feet longer and 10K# when loaded for some real TH camping. Congrats on the new TH, here's hoping you have many wonderful times with your family.
