just not my day
:( well we got the truck all wired up to accept the trailer, took care of the wheel cylinders, new trans earlier this year. everything else looked fine. drive line, ujoints, brakes,etc.
we had gone and done our walk thru on tt and we were scheduled to go pick it up.
on the way there we hear a grind , then a vibration then a bang. the back of the truck jumps in the air a bit and poof out from under the truck the drive line flys.
we get to the side of the road and see. the rear of the tranny and transfer case exploded and are gone, drive line bent. ujoints destroyed.
the good part no one got hurt, or other cars damaged. we are thankful we didnt have the trailer on during this time.
so i guess it could always get worse.
sent the truck to the people who rebuilt the trans. we will see what they say as to what happened since the trans is only a few months old.
