I remember driving the new Chevy vortec V6 that actually had a 4 barrel carb when they first came out. That engine was much better to drive with more useable power than the I6 engine it replaced.

I seriously doubt the I6 will replace todays V6 engines here in the states... Kind of like the article I read some time last year that several European contries have stated diesel powered cars was a mistake and plan to phase them out and switch to gas.
