Bought a DOHC in-line 6 1985 Cressida. Car had plenty of power and good mileage.
My current Cummins has plenty of power but mileage is poor. My in-line 4.0 has plenty of power but poor mileage.
Current 3.5 DOHC V-6 is the quickest and gives the best mileage.
The first Cummins offered in pickups (1998) had a turbo and much more power than the non-turboed V-8's from GM and F which were dogs.
