Sure they do. But it has next to nothing to do with electronics or EFI and the new PS rules have proved that. They made more power with 100 YO technology.
The rule change didn't prove anything of the sort. To make a true comparison you would have to compare both fuel systems using the same induction system. When you change both at once, you don't know how much of a change is due to the fuel system change or the induction system change. It isn't an apples to apples comparison.
Yes or no; all being the same, does EFI make more power than a carb? Yes or no?
