Carburetors have done really well when it just comes to just producing power in normally aspirated engines considering they are an over century old technology, but there are reasons why every racing formula in the world runs FI and it isn't because it makes less power. NASCAR and drag racing are finally entering the 80's when it comes to fuel systems.
