- SidecarFlipExplorer IIIIt's pot metal. One solid wack with a hammer and it's gone. I have one, hardly ever use it.
- DutchmenSportExplorerThe comments in the video were entertaining. I couldn't figure out what they were talking about, "the mask", so watch it again. And sure enough, you can see the reflection of the guy talking and he has a mask on. Way too funny.
I had a hitch lock on my TT's. I still have one on my utility trailer, which is more subject to theft than the TT's ever were. It won't keep a thief from throwing a chain around the tongue and dragging it away faster than I can sneeze. All it will do is keep an honest person honest.
Still, anything that will detour a thief is better than nothing. Nothing will stop a determined thief. - 73gunaExplorerI keep my coupler secure with a padlock which has Ruger stamped on it.
So far no problems. :) - LwiddisExplorer III use one but also padlock the coupler and the chains. Hopefully my TT will be passed for easier pickings.
- WestcoastingExplorerI had a 12 year old utility trailer and an older dirt bike stolen a couple years ago... luckily i was talked into replacement cost insurance and got a new trailer and way nicer bike.

Surprisingly no! I was shocked that they didn't have their hand out for me. - Deuce222ExplorerI don't have a TT yet but I put on the following stickers visible on my high dollar vehicles: (US. Army Infantry- Special Forces) so far have had no problems.
- colliehaulerExplorer IIIAfter seeing a teenager on tv stealing a bike in front of a police station with bolt cutters in hand he was promptly arrested I doubt much anything is a deterrent anymore.

Around here the police keep the bikes in a little pen with a lock on the door. If you want a bike you just go ask the dispatcher to unlock the door for you and then pick one out and say that it's yours. They give you the bike and you ride it home. Doens't have to be yours of course you just have to say that it is.
Doesn't matter anyway. The kid these days are all so spoiled that if there bike gets stolen there parents get them a new one the same day. The police usually end up throwing all the bikes in the pen away once a year because it gets too full.
There are 4500 people in town.
