I leave mine unplugged. I hook up a trickle charger to the batteries and check the fluid levels every six months. I know that my system will charge the batteries, but I figure that the trickle charger is cheaper to replace in the long run. My trailer is kept covered and I leave the vents and a few windows open for ventilation.
