My DH wants to know how you get in your vehicle if it is locked when the battery dies when you have no key to open the door??
I have NEVER seen a "keyless" vehicle that didn't have a key on at least the drivers door and trunk. And every "keyless" vehicle I've seen has "blade key" that can be used to open the door and also start the vehicle. Sometimes the key slot for starting the vehicle is in an unusual place like in the center console.
And the blade key is in the "keyless" fob in one form or another.
Now on many vehicles if you lock the vehicle with the remote and open the door with a key, the alarm sounds until you place a valid key with sensor in the ignition switch.
