  • Not sure if I'm too late with this but here goes nothing...
We've had our 2017 KSB 287QBS and have had the following issues:
    1. The toilet would not hold water which led to the dreaded "Poo Pyramid". This
happened during our maiden voyage to Vegas last year.
    2. The glass cover on the stove was not properly installed. Instead of tilting back out of the way it sat perpendicular to the cooking surface. This resulted in the glass falling on a pan full of bacon grease and almost setting the TT on fire!
    3. The oven did not stay lit. The pilot would light and then the burner but after about five minutes everything would shut off.
All three of these issues were covered under warranty so no money came out of my pocket HOWEVER, it required me to drive 1 hour each way to drop off and pick up my rig. So what I saved in repairs I spent on gas and wear/tear on the TV and TT. I hope this helps. Stay safe and happy camping! Cheers!
  • I don't know how you plan to use your TT but if you plan to do extensive towing please be very careful with anything called "ultra-lite". We had a Keystone Bullet that just couldn't hold up to our 10,000 to 15,000 miles per year schedule. I don't know how it would have done as a weekend, one vacation a year unit. Anything built "lite" is going to take a lot of wear and tear. We learned the hard way. lizzie

Had the same floor plan, but, different manufacturer.

Things you may want to take another look at:

    1. When the slide is pulled in, you cannot access the bathroom, pantry, or rear bunk area. If you want to make a quick stop along the road, maybe for lunch or potty stop, you need to put the slide out.

    2. The bathroom is quite small. Limited room for dressing after a shower and no privacy if you open the door.

    3. If you leave the bathroom door wide open and close the slide, the slide will tear the bathroom door off it's hinges. (been there)

    4. Look at the head and foot room in master bedroom. I don't like my head and feet touching the walls when I'm trying to sleep. I am less then 5'9" and had to sleep at an angle to keep from touching the walls on both ends.

    5. The counter space is very small. You can add a counter extension, but, the extension either blocks the entrance door or the pathway to and from master bedroom.

Look for a unit that offers a Full (regulation) Queen Bed. Get the best quality mattress that you can afford You don't want a typical; "RV Length" because they're too small! FYI they'll try to generally lousy mattresses ad their Premium LOL Have toy looked at Lance Trailer Trailers ; incredibility well built with the latest technology.

    Good Luck!

  • I have no experience with Keystone products...but I showed the floor plan to my wife and she mentioned that she would like more kitchen counter space.
