We have a 2013 cougar x-light with that size black tank. When we go dry camping the fresh water tank limits how much we put into the black tank. We carry just over 40 gallons of fresh water, and most of that goes to showers/baths for kids. There just isn't enough water leftover to fill the black tank most of the time. In other words, there isn't enough water to go around. The 28 gallon black tank isn't an issue for us (2 kids) and we really love the cougar!
