The "technicality" here is you purchased a used trailer which in your hands therefore never had any factory warranty, presumably because you weren't willing to pay for a brand new one with factory warranty which is designed to cover issues like this, and now you're complaining that the factory won't stand behind their product? :h Regardless that this issue may initially have been caused by improper installation during assembly I wouldn't waste the time complaining here on the forums as there's nothing anyone here can do to help and although some may be inclined to be sympathetic it's hard to understand how you legally have a leg to stand on since you took your chances when you chose to purchase a used unit without any factory warranty. :R
