My comments to the OP would be this: I feel your pain about buying something close to new and hoping it is "good".
However......the RV industry is sadly well known for not being real good at making these thing "right". It ends up being a situation of buyer beware.
Sadly, this may not be a hobby that you will enjoy, because like it or not, all of these RV's, no matter the brand tend to be either a little of, or a lot of "some assembly required".
A repair like that...me personally, I'd fix it myself in a nice afternoon with the tools in my shop....and then go camping.....
