- kdelongExplorerThank you everyone for your advice. Greatly appreciate it!
- Bodie217ExplorerPrime Time has received the DSI award several times, Keystone is having a MAJOR recall. Those are facts. My opinion is that Prime time is a good entry level trailer and have better quality control than Keystone. I consistently hear negative things about Keystone. Check out Starcraft for a better comparison to Prime Time.
Have you looked into the Forest River Flagstaff/Rockwood line? They have some nice premium features you won't find in other entry level TTs (frameless windows, solid surface countertops, electric/auto stabilizer jacks, 12v heated tanks). Also check out Heartland Wilderness, Coachmen Freedom, Palomino Solaire, Cruiser RV, and Outdoor RV Wind River. - tnscoutrExplorerThat is a subjective question. What I think is important may not be the same as you. While researching the purchase of our trailer, I realized that ALL manufacturers build some trailers that have problems. The best that you can do is look over each trailer that you are considering with a fine tooth comb. When you do finally pick one, do not sign any papers or pay a deposit until after the PDI is completed AND any problems found are corrected. You have no leverage after they have the signed contract. Our search led us to the Hideout in my signature and we couldn't be happier with it. Good luck in the search.
