We have a 298RE we bought new in 2011. It gets lots of use, has probably 150k + and we love it. It spends 6-8 months a year on the road.
We’ve had two problems worth mentioning. The seal around the cabinet in the outdoor kitchen wasn’t sealed and it leaked bad. By the time I figured it out I had softened some of the floor under the kitchen sink. The second one was a broken A-frame, which was probably as much my fault as it was Keystones. I have a tendency to pack heavy and it really wasn’t built for off road; but I was!
All in all we’re really happy with it. We’ve thought about a new one but can’t find a floor plan that is even close to as comfortable as this one is for us. For the most part it’s a well built unit that was originally equipped with an underrated set of tires. Pretty typical
