I have the E-pack . I think its worth it. 35F was warm with infrequent furnace cycling. I would NOT travel with 90 gals of water but filling on site for a long stay in nice. If it had wings you could fight a forest fire with it. That's a large twin tank set up that are linked up together with one fill pipe and 2 low point drains to speed things up when emptying before departing a site. I only travel with 10-15 gals.
double check the Jayco website for 2017 model options. But this matches what I have for 2016.
Elite pack info here from owners.
I double checked and it is twin 40 gallon tanks plus 6 gallons in the water heater for a total of 86 gallons. The tanks are twinned together for filling purposes however each tank has its own petcock for dumping the water. I usually only travel with them about half full and then fill at the campground however they have been a few times I completely filled them before leaving as I knew the water at the place we were camping wasn't good. With my truck I can't really tell that much of a difference between full and not full.
I also love the black tank flusher that the elite package gets you. I didn't realize how nice they were until I had one but now after owning this camper I wouldn't have another one without it.
